Hi. My name is Duyen and I'm from Vietnam. Ever since I came here, my English has been improving every day. GEOS is a good school to study English. Teachers are friendly and always help students. Studying in GEOS is one of the best experiences of my life. GEOS is my first school in America, and I will never forget the school.

When I first got here, I couldn't speak English very well. Then all of friendly teachers and friends helped me improve my English. I've been here for two months and my English is much better. I'm confident to speak English with anyone and GEOS is providing me exactly what I need to reach my goal, which is to be fluent in English. Also, I have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and to know different cultures. My host family is so kind with me and they give me everything I need. I'm so glad I chose GEOS to be my English school. I will never forget this experience.

My sister recommended me about this school because she was here 3 years ago. After I spoke with my parents, I decided to come here, because English is the most important thing in your future work. When I arrived the first day, all the people were friendly with me. I am here for two months already, and my English is improving every day.

 

My class is, as my teacher, Gerard says, a melting pot. We are people from Korea, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Mexico, and Spain. I learn a lot about different cultures. My experience here is awesome! It is fantastic because you can get to know a lot about California with other students from GEOS. They organize fantastic excursions where you can get to know your classmates better, and where you can have a lot of fun.

 

For me, this is the best experience of my life, and overall, my English is getting better. If you want to learn English, I recommend you to study at GEOS English Academy Costa Mesa. You can enjoy Learning English at GEOS.

I joined GEOS for four weeks. At first, I felt a little nervous because I couldn't understand what teachers and friends were saying, but gradually I could understand them. I learned not only English but also many countries' cultures by talking with many people.

 

GEOS is also in a good location. It's close to a shopping mall and some beaches. So, I enjoyed shopping and seeing the nice views of the beaches with my friends. The sunsets were amazing!

 

My host mother was also great. She was very kind and let me experience a lot (volunteering, going out together, and so on). After coming back to Japan, I will keep learning English and come back to Costa Mesa.

When I think about GEOS, I remember one of the best times of my life. Choosing the most special moment at GEOS is difficult. Classes were nice, sightseeing was wonderful, and I learned a lot about the many cultures around the world from the friends I made. I learned a lot about writing, and now practicing new vocabulary is my passion. My classes ended three months ago, but I still come to GEOS to hang out because it's a good environment and it brings back good memories. I miss GEOS a lot!

Hi! My name is Chiara and I've been here for months. I think that GEOS is the perfect compromise for studying and having fun here in California. It's incredible how fast you can learn. I learned to be more extroverted and easygoing. I have been in contact with people from other countries, ages, and cultures. Hi! I'm Akane, and I'm from Japan. I have been at GEOS Costa Mesa for one year. When I came here for the first time, I couldn't speak English at all. Step by step, I began speaking more and more. Antes de vir para os Estados Unidos, eu estava com um pouco de medo de como tudo poderia ser, como poderia ser minha vida longe do meu país, da minha família e amigos. Mas eu fui muito bem recebida por todos aqui em Costa Mesa! Minha família americana é maravilhosa, meus "pais" americanos me tratam super bem e eu tenho um "irmaozinho", ele é o bebê mais fofo do mundo. Hello! My name is Sandra and I'm from Switzerland. I studied for 7 weeks at GEOS Costa Mesa. First, it was hard for me because I couldn't speak English well. But soon, I made a lot of new friends and I liked GEOS very much. The teachers are really nice and funny. I learned a lot! Now I can speak English with other people and that makes me happy. I enjoyed my time in the U.S. and I would come back if I could.

After I finished university, I decided to go abroad to improve my English. There were a lot of language school options for me, but a friend told me etaht there is a quality language school with a good reputation called GEOS. Thereofore, I decided to go to GEOS. When I cam to GEOS, I was welcomed by Junko, Annie, Elizabeth, and Ed who aree working there and they are really nice staff. I attend TOEFL course which is very beneficial for me. Debbie, who is the teacher of the TOEFL course, is the best teacher I have ever known. She is using a reeally impressive teaching method, and it is really beneficial for all students. I have met a lot of international students at GEOS and it was also a big experience for me. I also went to Las Vegas/Grand Canyon, Hollywood and many other places. These were awesome experiences. After three months, I can say that GEOS is a perfect school for students who want to improve English and know different cultures, people, and have a good education.

When I decided to come to California to study English, I thought it was going to be very good. But in reality it was even better than I ever imagined! The staff at GEOS is amazing. Everybody is very kind, friendly and helpful. The classes are fun and I&#ve learned a lot of new things. I&#ve also met a bunch of great people who have become my friends. Good developing school with prospects. It is a place where you can learn, not only English, but meet people from around the world and learn about different cultures and socieites. Staff and teachers are extremely supportive and they help students to improve their English and also with their personal difficulties. I have been learning many things for the TOEFL test, for example, how to read examination text&#s, finding appropriate information, writing topic approaches, how to find words etc. I think that the course is very useful if you are going to take the TOEFL exam.

The first time in GEOS, I was really afraid of speaking in English. However now, I can complain on the phone! Can you believe it? Furthermore, I met many international friends and learned their culture. What about the teachers? They are so nice. I love them. I recommend GEOS to you.
