Ed Jackson - Manager

Edward Jackson

 

Ed is the Manager for GEOS Costa Mesa. Ed has a B.A. in Speech Communications and has over 16 years in ESL teaching in both Japan and California.

 

 


 


Elizabeth Martin - Operations Coordinator

Alizabeth Martin

 

Elizabeth is originally from Kansas, and has lived in California for almost 10 years. She attended Kansas State University, and Chapman University. Elizabeth has also studied abroad in Germany, and loves to travel. In her spare time she enjoys writing, music, and videographer. She has been doing home stay coordinating for two years now, and really enjoys working with international students.

 

 

 


Annie Klink - Academic Coordinator

Annie Klink

 

Annie is a Physical Therapy major turned teacher after spending a year in Spain teaching ESL. She was recently promoted to Academic Coordinator and is enjoying the students here in Costa Mesa. She loves traveling and would love to learn more languages.

 

 

 

 


Junko Takada - Marketing Coordinator

Junko Takada

Junko is the Marketing Coordinator at GEOS Costa Mesa. She holds a M.S.Ed. in TESOL. She loves her job as she loves to interact with students. She likes to help students who are trying hard to learn English and assist students who want to come to the U.S. to learn English. Also, she will give you some tips on how to assimilate to Orange County life. If you want to be on Junko’s good side, speak to her in English!

Katie Lee, B.S.

Katie Lee

Having worked in marketing and product management for over 10 years, Katie took her business background in Seoul, South Korea for two years to teach business English to students from top domestic and international business. In her spare time, she enjoys gourmet cooking and is currently producing her own independent film to be distributed nationwide. Katie is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a degree in consumer science, with emphasis in business and marketing.

 

 



Kathi de Castro, M.S.C.
From: Huntington Beach

Kathi de Castro

Kathi has a M.S.C. in TESOL, and has been teaching at GEOS since 2002. She teaches IE classes and TOEIC. She also taught in the public school system for 3 years. Kathi enjoys teaching different classes because the variety and the changing dynamics keep it interesting. She speaks English and Burmese fluently, lived in four different countries and loves to try different ethnic food.

 

 



Deborah Breault, B.A., M.S.
From: California

Deborah Breault

Deborah has been an English instructor since 1990. She taught in Japan for 5 years and has been teaching TOEFL in California since 1995. She focuses on basic skills required to be a college student in America.

 

 



John McIssac B.A.

John McIssac

John is currently teaching I.E. and business classes. He has traveled in Europe and Asia and lived in France as a student for a year, and later in Japan for over 10 years. While in Japan he studied traditional Japanese performing arts, for example, Kabuki, Kyogen, and Noh. He also likes to ski, swim, read and take pictures. Ask him about places to go in Orange County.

 

 



Jennifer Scranton, B.A.

Jennifer Scranton

Jennifer graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in psychcology. She enjoys traveling and studying foreign languages.

 

 

 



Grace Lechner, B.A.

Grace Lechner

Grace is a graduate of the University of Arizona majoring in Spanish with a concentration in Portugese. At GEOS Costa Mesa, she makes sure that every student feels special and welcome. She makes sure that students understand how important it is to be active and make it her responsibility to provide activities for them! My study abroad trip to Mexico gave me experience which enables me to relate to each student and therefore provide advice comfort and support.
